Froling’s compact firewood boiler the S2 (15 – 20 kW) combines all the features of a state-of-the-art biomass combustion system, and is a modern, space-saving log boiler designed for high efficiency and user convenience. It is engineered to burn half-metre logs (up to 56 cm) and features a modular design that allows for future upgrades to pellet heating.

Now available with optional Electrostatic Precipitator (ESP) for greater emissions control.

• • Lambdatronic LTC 5000 Control: Features a 7-inch glass touch display for intuitive operation, allowing for easy management of heating circuits and storage tanks.
• • Integrated Particle Separator: An optional, built-in electrostatic precipitator (electrofilter) that ensures ultra-low dust emissions, meeting strict environmental standards without requiring extra space.
• • Dual-Fuel Readiness: The boiler comes standard with a pellet flange, enabling a pellet unit to be retrofitted at any time to create a dual-fuel system.
• • Carbonisation Gas Extraction: Prevents smoke from escaping into the room during reloading by extracting gases before the door is fully opened.
• • Flexible Installation: Equipped with a rotatable flue gas pipe connection, allowing for easier adaptation to various boiler room layouts.
• • Automatic Pre-heating: Includes regulated air ducts that allow the fuel loading door to be closed shortly after lighting, simplifying the start-up process.
• • WOS (Efficiency Optimisation System): Standard feature consisting of special turbulators in the heat exchanger pipes. A lever mechanism allows for easy cleaning from the outside, maintaining high efficiency and lowering fuel consumption.
• • Speed-Regulated Induced Draught Fan: Ensures constant high-quality combustion and allows the boiler to start reliably even with a cold chimney.
