The Fröling TMe is a fully automatic, high-performance biomass heating system designed to burn a wide variety of wood fuels, including wood chips, pellets, and shavings. It is part of the Turbomat series and is specifically engineered to handle more demanding or lower-quality fuels with high moisture content while maintaining ultra-low emissions. 

The TMe is a commercial-scale boiler available in higher output ranges (350 kW to 550 kW). It features a robust, industrial design that automates every stage of the heating process, from fuel feeding and combustion to self-cleaning and ash removal.

Features

  • • Adiabatic Combustion Chamber: Air is drawn through a thermally insulated outer shell, which preheats the combustion air and minimises radiant heat loss
  • • High-Temperature Combustion Zone: Uses innovative module components made of silicon carbide and a 4-layer jacket for optimal burnout, even with inferior or alternative fuels.
  • • Advanced Controls: Managed by an industrial PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) with a 10.1-inch glass touch display for intuitive operation and remote monitoring via Fröling Connect.
  • • Integrated Emission Controls: Includes a combined electrostatic precipitator (EFZ) and multicyclone unit to ensure dust emissions remain extremely low, even when burning problematic fuels.
  • • Vertical 3-Pass Heat Exchanger: Features an integrated Efficiency Optimisation System (WOS) that automatically cleans the heating surfaces to maintain peak performance.
  • • Flue Gas Recirculation (FGR): Standard high-temperature recirculation helps optimize the combustion process, particularly for demanding fuels like pellets or shavings.
  • o Actuated Moving Grate: Ensures a constantly homogeneous combustion process.
  • o Air-Cooled Slide-on Duct: Guarantees minimal energy consumption in the feed area and provides flexibility for various fuel sizes.
  • o Automatic Ignition: Can be fitted with an optional second ignition fan for materials that are particularly difficult to light.
  • • Automated Ash Removal: A collective ash removal system with a generously dimensioned grate screw moves ash into external containers or centralised pits for long emptying intervals.
  • • Service-Friendly Design: Large combustion chamber doors on both sides allow for easy access and maintenance.
